AI visibility tool: see where AI answers name your brand
AI Rankia measures your AI search visibility: it asks 17 AI engines (7 with live web search) your prompts on a schedule, and records whether each answer names your brand, in what order, and which sources the search engines cite.
“Which AI ranking software can help me get to the first page of Google?”
AI answers are a moving target

The unit is a prompt, not a keyword
The questions a buyer would type into ChatGPT or Google AI Mode.
You choose the prompts
Each runs daily, weekly or monthly. New ones start monthly.
The engines answer
You pick the engines per prompt. Claude Search, Grok Search and Perplexity start off.
We record every answer
Which brands it names, in what order, and which URLs it cites.
Four AI visibility numbers, each with its formula
What each number on the dashboard means and how it is computed, with one of our own prompts as the example.
- 14.3%
- Share of the engines that answered with brands in the period that named you at least once.
- 1 of 7 engines
- 14.0%
- Coverage first; your mentions only break ties (top = the most mentions of any brand). Then rescaled so the leader scores 100.
- (coverage + mentions ÷ (top + 1) ÷ engines²) ÷ leader’s score × 100
- #56
- Your place among every brand the answers named, sorted by visibility score. Brands with equal scores share a rank.
- #56 of 60 rank levels · 220 brands
- — / 7not named
- Where each engine names you in its latest answer: 1st, 2nd, 3rd…, read from the text.
- not named · 0 of 7 engines
Example: one prompt in our own account, 7 engines, October 10, 2026. Formulas from analyseScheduledQueryResults.ts in our product code. Why a rank and not a position: see Limits.
How 14.0 is computed
The prompt is “Which AI ranking software can help me get to the first page of Google?”. 1/7 coverage plus 13 mentions against a top of 1,807 gives 14.30; the leader’s 102.04 turns it into 14.0 (both already ×100 in the code, so 14.30 ÷ 102.04 × 100 = 14.0). If no brand is named by every engine, the divisor is a perfect score instead. Coverage counts every run in the period; answer order shows only each engine’s latest answer, so the two can disagree.

Who is named before you
The brands named ahead of yours, how often, and your average position in each engine: your short-list of who to study.
- The top 20 brands on your prompts, by demand and AI visibility
- Visibility over time in the same overview

Google’s page for the same prompt, and a rank tracker
A tracked prompt can also show the Google results page stored for a run, AI Overview on top (pictured). For keywords, the separate SERP Rank Tracker checks up to 100 per tracker: your position in the top 100, whether an AI Overview appears, and whether it cites your domain.
- Weekly or monthly, desktop or mobile
- Each check keeps that day’s results page and its AI Overview sources

What an AI visibility tool can’t tell you
- The same prompt rarely returns the same list (SparkToro), so we report a distribution and a weekly trend. SparkToro writes that “any tool that gives a ‘ranking position in AI’ is full of baloney”, and calls visibility % across many runs a reasonable metric. We agree about single answers: #56 above is a rank by visibility score over every run in the period, and answer order is a reading of each engine’s latest answer, not a fixed position.
- Nobody outside OpenAI or Google has them. GEO Strategy models an estimate from Google volume and labels it so.
- We see the answer in your chosen country, without chat history or memory. A logged-in buyer may see another.
- “Average Position” ranks by visibility; the Position tab counts the order in the answer. They can disagree.
- Free is the one-off scan. Scheduled re-runs and batch adds spend no credits; a prompt added alone pays its first run (5 credits on the default engines). Each Google keyword check costs 1 credit.Brand adds Content Hub, Get Cited, AI Links, Ads, Local.
