Connect once, ask anywhere
The Google, WordPress and Shopify permissions live in AI Rankia, per brand. Claude and ChatGPT only ever see the answers.

On the brand’s Integrations page: Google sign-in, or your WordPress or Shopify credentials.

- Analytics Google documents one official, read-only MCP that you run locally (experimental); an undocumented remote endpoint also responds (compared).

- On the web, open Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins), press +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Enter a name, paste one of the URLs as the Server URL, choose OAuth, accept the risk warning and press Create as a plugin.
- Install the plugin, then call it in a chat by typing @ and picking it. Review write actions before you approve them.
ChatGPT has no documented one-click link, so this takes three steps. Steps from OpenAI’s custom MCP server guide (checked October 13, 2026), which says to use ChatGPT on the web and that workspace permissions and security restrictions, including Lockdown, apply.
What the integrations don’t do
- Search Console and Analytics need an active plan.
Without one, their tools still list, but every call says a plan is needed.
- Each URL is its own connector.
Adding mcp.airankia.com doesn’t add /gsc or /ga4. Add each one you want.
- Analytics is read-only.
Read access only: no audiences, key events or permissions.
- Search Console data is ~2 days old.
About 16 months kept. Recrawls use Google’s Indexing API: job and livestream pages, ~200 URLs a day.
- Nothing goes live on your site without confirm.
Writes to a live site wait for confirm. One exception you choose: once you confirm turning on autopilot’s autopublish, its articles go live on their own. Search Console changes rely on your chat app’s approval. Shopify has no drafts or homepage edits.
- Some tools spend credits.
For example: writing an article (500 credits), a topic report (45 to 133), prompt runs, domain, backlink and keyword data. Search Console and Analytics don’t.
