Google Search Console MCP: ask Claude about your search data
Add mcp.airankia.com/gsc to Claude or ChatGPT and ask about clicks, queries, indexing and sitemaps in plain language. Read live from Google, with the account you already connected in AI Rankia.
Included with any paid plan, from Monitor ($99/mo).
Which searches are almost on page 1 for my site?
quick_winsdays: 28Four queries already rank 4–20 with real impressions. Start with crm for small teams at 6.2: improve that page for that query.
Tool count and sign-in: checked in our MCP server code on October 13, 2026.
Three steps, about a minute
Everything happens in your brand’s Integrations & MCPs page. No keys to copy for Claude or ChatGPT.
Connect Search Console
In Integrations & MCPs › MCPs, press Connect Search Console, sign in with Google and pick the site.
Add the connector
“Add to Claude in 1 click” opens Claude with mcp.airankia.com/gsc filled in. In ChatGPT, add the same URL in Developer mode.

From “what’s almost ranking” to “is it indexed”
Clicks, impressions and position, by any cut
search_analytics_query takes dates, dimensions (query, page, country, device, date, search appearance), search type and filters. Three shortcuts sit on top of it.
- top_queries and top_pages: what carries your traffic
- quick_wins: queries at position 4–20 with real impressions
- To compare two periods, the assistant calls it twice and subtracts
Which pages brought the most clicks this month?
top_pagesdays: 28Google’s own verdict, URL by URL
inspect_url returns whether a page is indexed, why not, the canonical Google chose and the last crawl. index_status_bulk checks up to 10 URLs at once.
- crawl_errors_summary: inspects your top-traffic pages and groups failures by reason
- request_indexing: tells Google a page changed, with the API’s limits stated
Are my new guides indexed?
index_status_bulkurls: 4Two are out: Google crawled /guides/pipeline but hasn't indexed it, and hasn't crawled /templates/quote yet.

Tags in amber mark tools that change your Search Console or DNS. get_verification_token only returns the token, unless you ask it to place the TXT record in your Cloudflare zone. Review those calls before you confirm them.

- It needs a paid AI Rankia plan.
Checked on every call. Without one, tools answer with a link to subscribe; the free plan doesn't include it.
- Data is 2–3 days behind.
That is Google's delay, so asking about today returns nothing (Google).
- No full Coverage report.
Google exposes per-URL inspection only, so crawl_errors_summary checks your 10 busiest pages, not the whole site. Inspection is capped at 2,000 URLs a day per site (Google).
- request_indexing is not a guarantee.
Google says its Indexing API is only for job-posting and livestream video pages (Google).
- quick_wins looks at your top 500 rows.
It reads 500 query and page pairs, then keeps positions 4–20 with at least 10 impressions. On a large site, opportunities beyond those rows are missed; ask search_analytics_query for more.
- Up to 1,000 rows per call, no Core Web Vitals.
Fine for a conversation; for full exports use Search Console’s export or a 25,000-row server. Core Web Vitals come from CrUX, which it doesn’t read.

Is there an official one?
Not from Google, as of October 13, 2026. These are options we could check, and where each one is better.

Better if: you want it free, 20 tools and 25,000 rows, and can run it on your machine.
Better if: you want 25,000 rows and regex shortcuts, and can create a service account.
Better if: you want one binary with no runtime, read-only, and can create a service account.
Better if: you already move data through Coupler.io and want many sources besides Google.

- mcp-gsc is the most used, and it is free.
mcp-gsc: 1,911 GitHub stars on October 13, 2026, MIT, 20 tools, up to 25,000 rows. You run it locally and create an OAuth client in Google Cloud first.
- A hosted rival costs less.
Advanced GSC MCP, by mcp-gsc's author: Google sign-in, nothing to install, Starter $15/mo for 3 properties (October 13, 2026). Pick it for Search Console alone; our plan also tracks you in AI answers.
- Self-hosted servers read more rows.
mcp-server-gsc and Dev Leader’s native binary (no runtime needed) read up to 25,000 rows per query, free and open source, with a service account you create.
- Coupler.io reaches beyond Google.
It advertises URL inspection, crawl errors and coverage next to performance data, from data flows you set up there. A fit for teams already on it.
