AI visibility tools, compared
Six tools that track whether AI answers name your brand. Every price here was read on the vendor’s own site on 9 October 2026. We make one of the six, AI Rankia, so weigh that accordingly.

One vendor against AI Rankia, or against its alternatives, checked on the vendor’s own pages.
4 earlier comparisons on airankia.comThey keep their URLs. Two quote AI Rankia prices that are no longer current.
Every tool here does the same first three things
The differences are which engines, how many prompts, and what happens after the report.
A fixed list of prompts
The questions your buyers ask, chosen by you.
Sent to AI engines on a schedule
Which engines and how often: where plans differ most.
Every answer recorded
Named or not, where, next to whom, and which pages are cited.
Then a report, or a fix
Most tools stop at the report: the biggest difference in the table.
Where they differ
The standard part, and what we add
Prompts, cited sources and fan-out
Not ours alone: Peec AI’s pricing page also lists source analytics, citation share and a fan-out overview.
- Up to 7 engines with live web search per prompt, 4 on by default
- Position, visibility, coverage and mentions per engine, and who is named instead. No credits; 50 prompts on Monitor and Brand
- Every cited domain and URL, by engine
- Fan-out sub-queries matched to your Search Console and Bing positions

Then fix it from the same account
We found neither schema deploys nor placement buying advertised by the other five. Profound and Peec AI advertise agents; we found no CMS publishing advertised by either.
- Schema and llms.txt pushed live by our WordPress plugin or a Cloudflare Worker
- Articles published to WordPress or Shopify: 500 credits each; Brand includes 10,000 a month
- AI Links: where a placement can be bought on the sites AI cites, with authority, traffic and cost

Checked on on each vendor's public pages and docs. ✗ means we did not find it advertised on that date, not that it does not exist.
AI Rankia cells marked Brand $349+ are also in Autopilot, the agency plan and Enterprise (see our pricing). Vendor prices are list prices as shown on 9 Oct 2026: Peec AI’s and Ahrefs’ in euros as shown from Europe (a US visitor may see different prices), the rest in US dollars. Some vary by region. What this table can’t tell you
- We are one of the six. AI Rankia wrote this page, and kept the rows we lose.
- No prompt-volume data; bot analytics costs more. The other five sell topic demand data; we don’t. AI-crawler analytics is free in beta at Ahrefs; included from Peec AI’s Starter and Otterly’s Standard ($189/mo); from Brand ($349/mo) with us.
- Engine counts are not like for like. Ours: up to 7 with live web search per tracked prompt, 4 on by default; “17+” also counts models without web search. The others publish per-plan counts.
- Articles. Profound and Peec AI advertise agents that act on your data; we did not find CMS publishing advertised by either.
The numbers behind the price
Three figures, one chart and five questions, all worked out from what each vendor publishes.
42% across 8 engines and 2,078 questions, mostly from Mexico and Spain: the engines our customers chose, not AI Mode’s market share.

Five questions to put to any vendor
Each one points back to a row of the table or to the chart above.
Which engines does your buyer use?
Is Google AI Mode in the plan or an add-on? Otterly sells it as an add-on; Profound’s trial leaves it out.
Table · AI engines ↑How often does each prompt run?
Daily is about 30 runs a month, weekly is 4. AI Rankia lets you set it per prompt.
Chart · answers ↑Do you need demand data?
Profound, Ahrefs, Semrush, Peec AI and Otterly each sell a measure of how often a topic is asked. AI Rankia does not.
Table · prompt demand ↑What happens after the report?
Schema, articles and mentions on the sites AI reads. AI Rankia does them from Brand ($349/mo); with a monitoring-only tool, budget that work separately.
Table · after the report ↑Agencies: what does the tenth client cost?
Otterly and Peec AI run agency programs. AI Rankia’s agency plan: $1,297 for 2 client brands to $8,069 for 30, white label included.
