Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using AI Rankia ("AI Rankia", "we", "us", or "our"), available at airankia.com and its subdomains, including the SaaS dashboard at app.airankia.com, the REST API at api.airankia.com, and the MCP server at mcp.airankia.com.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use AI Rankia.

1. Description of Service

AI Rankia is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) platform that monitors how brands appear in AI-generated search responses across models including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok, and others. The service includes brand monitoring, citation analysis, visibility scoring, competitive landscape reports, and access via REST API and Model Context Protocol (MCP).

2. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use AI Rankia.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Credits, Subscriptions, and Billing

• AI Rankia operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when running AI visibility queries.
• Subscription plans include a fixed number of query credits per billing period.
• Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) credits can be purchased separately and do not expire.
• All fees are stated in USD and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
• Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AI Rankia to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform at scale beyond normal use
• Resell or redistribute the service without written permission
• Use the service to harm, harass, or deceive third parties
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits or billing systems
• Use automated scripts to exceed reasonable API usage limits

5. API and MCP Access

Access to the AI Rankia REST API and MCP server is governed by these Terms in addition to any API-specific documentation. You are responsible for all activity performed using your API key or OAuth token. API access is subject to rate limits and fair use policies. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access for abuse.

When connecting AI Rankia to third-party AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor) via MCP, you grant those platforms access to your AI Rankia workspace data within the scope of your connected permissions. You are responsible for reviewing the terms of those platforms.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of AI Rankia is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

You retain ownership of the brand data and prompts you create. You grant AI Rankia a limited license to process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Intellectual Property

AI Rankia and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AI Rankia and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party AI Models

AI Rankia submits queries to third-party AI search models (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Perplexity, xAI, and others) to generate visibility data. The responses from these models are provided by third parties and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. AI Rankia is not responsible for the content generated by these models. Results may vary based on model updates, geographic location, and other factors outside our control.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. AI RANKIA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI RANKIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Rankia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to AI Rankia at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time via the account settings page. Sections 6, 7, 9, and 10 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which AI Rankia operates, at our election.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice in the dashboard at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
